Dutch Festival
I had heard about this little town about 45 min away from Des Moines called Pella and each year they have a Tulip Festival. I was hoping it would actually have fields of flowers like in Washington, however, that was not the case. But they did have tons and tons of people and a whole lot of Dutch Pride....

They turned out well. I have a real pair of wooden shoes that my parents brought me back from Amsterdam- I asked for blue wooden shoes and it took my mom forever- but she finally found some
